Amazon Prime Video has seen its subscriber count rise greatly due to people looking for something to pass their time during the quarantine. Prime video houses numerous shows to satiate the appetite of the user. Naturally, most of the time is spent browsing through titles instead of actually watching anything.   • The Boys
What if your idols, your superheroes were hiding some big secrets? What if the happy-go-lucky, friendly heroes had a dark side to them? Considered one of the best shows on Prime Video, The Boys is based on comics of the same name and its first season received great reviews. It is a dark comedy which stars Karl Urban as Billy Butcher, a roughneck who assembles a team of misfits to take on a corporation that protects and enables these “Superheroes”. For fans of dark comedy and action-thrillers, The Boys is a surefire top pick. Season 1 has eight episodes and owing to the great response it received, it has already been renewed for a second season. Therefore, it is the perfect time to catch up before season 2 drops. Homicide detective shows never get old and not many shows do this genre better than Bosch. The series is based on Michael Connelly’s novels and takes the viewer into the world of Harry Bosch, a Los Angeles homicide detective, played ably by Titus Welliver. The first season shows Bosch standing trial for a serial murder suspect while his past demons come back to haunt him. It has had six well-received seasons and was renewed for a seventh and final season in February 2020. It is the perfect show to binge as it has clocked six seasons already.

It follows the journey of a lady known only as “Fleabag” as she tries to handle a crumbling business and failing personal life.
